Comments:
This is one of the most interesting and unique sapphires I've ever gotten to cut! It has a healthy dash of blue at the culet, and then a LOT of yellow taking up much of the space of the gemstone, and finally, a lighter blue in the form of cloud-like patchy parallel lines in the crown. The result is a color explosion!
The blue and yellow are visible on their own, but where they cross, and mix with each other, you will also see all manner of teal and green tones.
Don't sleep on this one!! It's got everything you want from a gem, in terms of brilliance, clarity, and color. Perfect size for either a ring or pendant.
Faceted by Scott Maier carefully, and precisely in a custom design created just for this stone.
