Here is a primo accent stone of chrome kornerupine:  It is faceted with the rich purple color facing out of the table, and presents as an amazing blue raspberry color when the colors of the axes mix.

Kornerupine is one of the rarest gems out there, and usually the clarity suffers as the color improves.  In this cae, we have a small, but basically perfect example of this extraordinary tri-chroic gem.  

The last deposit was found AND exhausted in 2019/2020, and good material is more or less irreplaceable now.
