Comments:
I particularly like these crystals, which show distinct cyclical twinning. Technically it's a sixling twin, but the only sign you see of seperate 'wings' is the crystallization 'sutures' seen between individual crystal blades, which meet in the center.
This piece exhibits amazing crystallization and growth patterning. The long edges are all beveled, and you can see faint 6-sided shapes on the front surface of the crystal.
It's a lovely yellow color, and has incredible luster. No damage, either! There's one spot on the corner that looks as if it COULD be a little ding, but upon close inspection, it is actually a place that shows stepped crystal growth, looking like terraced rice paddies! (shown in a macro pic).
These are fairly hard to find, and double hard to find affordable. I like to have odd, unique, and rare things in my shop, so I have only put a very small markup on it.
