Origin: Unknown, but it looks a lot like material Ive seen from Australia

This gem is technically a trapiche sapphire, but it is an incomplete pattern - meaning there are pieces of one or two trapiche 'arms' in this piece, but the whole pattern is not present. That being said, there ARE great blue hexagonal color phantoms, and a glitter-like texture to the pieces of trapiche. It has great contrast between the very dark blue, the mid saturation blue, and the white.
This gem is a great size to be either a pendant or a ring, or even a bracelet or anything you can think of, basically!
This gem has been heated, and the exact source of origin is not known besides broadly, Africa. This size and type of gem does sometimes occur in Madagascar,
