I love most textural gems, or gems that do little magic tricks, like color change, fluorescence, and, of course, all optical phenomenon involving inclusions! (Cat's eyes, rays, stars, schiller, etc...)
This world-class example of a cat's eye kornerupine is breathtaking... The color is a rich medium strong green, the silk is even, and subtle, while the ray is strong, and sharp... And it is super duper gemmy.
This is a real luxury to behold, in such a size. Good quality kornerupine is more or less no longer available in decent quality rough, and sizes over one or two carats have ALWAYS been rather limited. So it's no small feat to hit 3.5 cts. of good quality finished product. Nearly impossible these days. I am truly proud to offer it.
The sky's the limit here, design-wise! it would look fantastic as a ring or pendant, or even bracelet, given the size. It could easily be involved in a highest-tier custom project. Let your mind indulge the possibilities ~
