I have coveted this gem tourmaline from one of my suppliers for years. I said if I ever made a sale big enough, I'd come back and get it. I thought the price was too high to make profit on, so I was stuck. But then my supplier decided to go out of the crystal business, and all of a sudden, there was a deal to be had, and I didn't hesitate a second.
This is the best tourmaline for color combo / aesthetics that I have ever seen or owned. There are a few other crystals with this general color combination that I bought over the years, since I think it is an amazing and unique combo. But this one is so much extra; ...So good as to beg to be stared at bewildered. It's got color that almost defies description.....
....almost.....
As far as I can estimate, and I did try pretty hard, the colors of this amazing gem crystal go: Whiskey ---> Sherry ---> Apricot ---> Sunset yellow ---> Mint/Teal Green.
It has a wide open C-Axis, great crystal form, a lovely complex termination, and literally the most unique color combination I have yet seen in tourmaline, which is a prolific producer of color combinations. I look at a LOT of tourmalines, so that is really saying something.
