Comments:
This fantastic pendant features a nice, large, and gemmy DRAVITE tourmaline slice. Sourced by me, on-site in the far western part of the Nepali Himalayas.
The stone has a green rind, and a two-toned honey brown coloration towards the center.
This beautiful natural gem is held by six carefully placed prongs, and the bail is free-moving. This gives the pendant great movement.
Since the stone is so gemmy, I decided to give this pendant a swooping silver cutout to go behind it. I think it's a great visual combination to see the coloration of the stone with reflective silver shining behind it.
