Continuing in my update of affordable and CLEAN chrome kornerupine: This tall triangle is a majestic teal color. The teal comes from the two green crystal axes mixing with the color of the C axis, which is purple in chrome kornerupines. This is an example of a chrome kornerupine where the purple axis is not necessarily visible by itself, unless you really look closely, at odd angles. Also it might be visible with a chelsea filter due to the chrome.
This handsome gem is large enough to stand on its own, in a stacker ring, if desired, or it would be a VERY high class way to add a lot of bling to a custom bail. It'd make a really great anything, including just to add it to your rare gem collection. It's a pretty pristine example of this ultra-rare gem type. Hardness is 7, similar to tourmaline, so you really can let you imagination run wild, as it can easily find it's home in a ring.
