This chrome-bearing kornerupine gemstone is a cute little emerald cut. It's got good proportions, cutting, polish, and color; What's not to like?
This gem faces up as teal, with a bit of blue to blue-green scintillation in the ends, where the facets overlap the most. The purple axis is visible lengthwise, through the length of the gem. You'll get purple influencing green and teal, but the actual hard purple color is relatively hard to see, except at a steep angle.
