This is one of the most fun, and most unique, and CLEANEST chrome kornerupine gems I have offered to date.
I saved carat weight by cutting it in this shape, and I think simultaneously created an edgy, modern gemstone. It's as cool as I had hoped.
Whether you're a collector who's interested in owning a piece of intensely rare perfection, then this may be your ticket! And if you are a jeweler interested in creating a modern statement piece; Same thing!
This gem shows as teal or green from most angles, but it has a distinct, directional purple color on opposite sides of the thickness dimension. You can see the influence of the purple axis in a few of the side-on photos that show the thickness of the gem.
This is an incredible, and rare treat to offer this little piece of perfect! (Especially in material as hard to find clean as chrome kornerupine)
