Comments:
Kornerupine is exceptionally rare, but especially clean material, that shows purple is the holy grail of this rare gem type. These two examples are small-ish, but are SO clean, and so obviously have purple in the mix, that they're dying to be made into high-end stacker rings, or kept prominently in a rare gem collection.
The oval is especially purple, and it makes for a gem with an overall 50/50 purple and teal combo. This is a hard needle to thread, since kornerupine usually shows mostly one or the other color, and you have to move it around in order for the colors to come and go.
The cushion/square is more on the teal side, but definitely flashes purple obvious to the eye.
Good cutting on both! low window cushion, and no window oval.
20% discount on the usual list price of clean kornerupine due to the two being sold together.
