Comments:
I think this may be the richest color eye clean chrome kornerupine I have yet worked on. So I gave it the absolute spa treatment - It's done up to meetpoint perfection, even at just 4.8 mm size. I also used more than twice as many facets as I usually use on gems twice as large as this one. It has over 115 individual facets.
The depth of color, and brilliance it produces is powerful, even in a relatively small gem. It's got scintillation for days, and the pattern moves well, and doesn't window in-hand.
This gem could do many things, given it's unique shape. It could add a lot of flair and personality to any custom project. It's also sure to make your customer swoon, with all of it's colors dancing together.
With a hardness of 7 on the mohs scale, it's appropriate for a ring, or whatever else you like.
