Comments:
People who know me, and know my shop, will know that I love textures in gems and jewelry. I faceted this otherwise high-end cabochon quality aquamarine because of the excellent, very deep saturation of color. It's one of the bluest aquamarine gemstones I've handled.
The inclusions are also primarily NOT fractures or dislocations. Nearly ALL of the inclusions are acid-etched hollow tubes that grew inside the gem naturally. They create a little disruption of the pattern of the gem, but honestly not much. You get a great pop of two kinds of blue, plenty of scintillation, and the very noticeably parallel inclusions seem to ADD to the mystique of the gem overall.
