Comments:
Both of these pieces are exceptional for form, color, and clarity. Both will cut eye clean (VVS+) gems. And both of them have good depth for their proportions, the green and yellow one especially.
The watermelon tourmaline piece has a few shallow fractures at the surface on the more shallow edge, and they will most likely pre-form out, and if not, then will certainly cut out of the final gem.
Watermelon colors are a classic combo for tourmaline, and in this example are VERY light bright and open -- it gives it a 'sweet and sour' vibe. The Yellow and green one is extra special. Any clean bi-color gem is special, really, but this one even more so. Yellow is a very uncommon color in tourmaline. Combine it with a frosty minty green color, and there you have it; My favorite tourmaline color combination. I've only seen it from the Rubaya Mine, and one other mine in Pakistan. Nowhere else is there a buttery yellow to minty green combo. And I've really looked, because the combination is quite striking.
Anyway, these two very special tourmaline pieces seemed like they belonged together for some reason.
Incidentally, if you enjoy 'rescuing' gems from the gem cutter, then these two might be up your alley -- Each of them is fully terminated and nearly completely damage free on the sides and top. They are a little on the small side for display pieces, but given their awesome colors, I think they would do ok.
