Comments:

What a stunning crystal!!!  This aqua is almost 100% clean.  It has a dislocation up by the top termination, but is otherwise loupe clean.

The top termination is complex and interesting, and the color gradation is a rare treat.  Beryl CAN show color changes along the length of the crystal, but it is nowhere near as common as it is in tourmaline.

The color of this gem is a solidly double-blue at the bottom, and about 1/3 of the way up, it abruptly changes to a very light, almost colorless blue.

You don't see them like this every day.  I acquired this in a parcel of facet rough, but I decided it's just too interesting for me to want to slice and dice it.  It would be a GREAT addition to any collection.
