I usually try not to cut very long skinny gems, because they tend to irredeemably window -- but this one turned out fantastic. There is a LITTLE windowing, which you just have to expect with such a length to width ratio, but for the most part, oriented straight, it looks fantastic, and even has both brilliant and step facets. This creates an intense, bright, blocky reflection pattern in the middle, and pixelated, brilliant facets at either end.
The color tends to split into it's dichroic components as well - Meaning the purple shows, and is reflected by the long bright middle facets, and the teal and green, as well as dark contrast, appear at the wide end, and at the narrow tip. It really does create a fun visual, top to bottom. The inclusion isn't even too bad, for what it's worth.
