Comments:
Chrysoberyl sixling twins and V twins are always popular, and they can be hard to source in good quality. I don't usually carry them, but was fortunate enough to find one of my suppliers had some interesting ones, so I took the leap.
This crystal cluster has all 6 twins in a traditional cyclical 'sixling' twin. In this one, some of the twinned crystals are larger than others, but they're all there. They all form radially, from a center point. The specimen gets gemmier and cleaner as you get out towards the outer edges. The center is composed of the overlapping and interacting of each of the six components of the whole specimen.
You can see some surface etching on the crystal, all over. It is subtle and interesting, and very fun to get lost in the straight lines, and stepped textures. The edges are wedge-shaped knife edge shapes, and are quite clean and crisp.
This piece is very energetic and dynamic, showing off a range of aesthetic traits. It's really a good one to go in for! Looks just like a flower.
