It took me a long time to describe the color of this gemstone in a way I felt was representative. It's tricky, because the color is SO in-between a number of different colors. It has personalities that are evident in different lighting situations:
It has a tan personality, a pink personality, a metalic-bronze personality, and at times, apricot! Combined with the high dispersion (rainbow flashes), the color dynamic really pops.
Zircon is pretty bright, in most colors, including this one. It will be extremely bright, and show lots of rainbow dispersion in sunlight, but the pattern will be hard to see; while in low light, you will see the color and design quite well, and vividly, but the brilliance is muted.
This is a really cool gem in terms of cutting - brilliant cut on bottom, and heckerboard-cut on top. This cut lends itself to being bright at extreme angles, and helps the performance generally in my opinion.
