Comments: This custom egg-leaning pear gem is totally flawless, inside and out. That makes it one of the rarest of the rare - Kornerupine rarely comes completely clean internally - there is almost always whisps, dislocations, crystal inclusions, or silk. This gem, however, is entirely, completely clean. The cut is a custom, designed by Scott Maier especially for this piece of rough, and it provides a lot of brilliance and scintillation. The color, being dichroic, is a nice medium grass green and a medium lime green - a bit more saturation than usual, for this gem type. This is a rather irreplaceable gemstone! Deposits are depleted, and rough is only getting more expensive.
