Comments:

One of the cleanest chrome kornerupine gems I have cut.  It has the lightness of color to thank for that, as the gems that have the most purple usually have the most inclusions.  

This gem is green on the axis that shows from the table, and purple on the purpendicular axis.  This means that yuou won't generally see the purple, but it will instead show in the form of influencing the green towards teal.

This gem has a lovely visual display, with brightness and pattern showing off quite well.  It was custom cut here in Vermont at the studio of Scott Maier.  The design is a special one, made just for this gemstone, and there are no gem cuts out there like it!
