Something quite fun! This jade fish carving is probably from Burma, or China, but I don't have the specifics at hand. It's a great white and green combo, with about a 50/50 distribution.
It has a drilled hole at the head-end of the fish, and is carved rather well, in my opinion. Not all native carvings have a nice look, and can be rather cartoonish sometimes, but this one I though had some personality.
I thought it would be a good candidate for a tied cord through the drilled hole, but if you prefer to put a silver loop in as a bail, who am I to stop you??!
