Clarity: VS clarity, but the schiller kind of takes away from that, so I guess I have to say SI?

This one is ODD -- It's a nice, clean yellow sapphire, but with a cloud of what would constitute 'blackstar sapphire'. It's a fine cloud of silky type inclusions that are silky, reflective, and more or less present as a super distinctive, flat layer of schiller. If you move the gem around in hand, you can see the cloud makes the gem have an orangey reddish brown color in addition to the yellow. It's really quite interesting, and definitely one of a kind, as far as how it presents in the gem.
This is really a fun one!! Offering it at a deal, too, due to the fact that it has no real direct market - I'm putting it up on the site because it's a quirky wonk, but not a dud. May not be the right gem for your next high- end piece, but if you're putting together a piece based on texture, this quality gem might be just the strange thing you need!
