Comments:

NOTE:  This specimen is SMALL, but it is so perfect I decided to offer it as a micromount, which means it is intended to be viewed under magnification!

In my opinion, you can still see how cool it is if you hold it carefully, and look close with no mgnification, but the detail and richness of it is a lot more interesting when you can see all of the details really big.

I would only offer such a piece given the unusual, and rare locality -- Middle mountain is known for producing gemmy to crust cubic green and purple fluorites.  It was blasted illegally and worked in the 1970's and has been dug by amateurs for the time since then.  Collecting is prohibited now, and old stock pieces are extremely hard to find.

This one stands out!  Despite its size, there is a lot of color and pattern visible inside.  Purple and green and blue are all featuredprominently.

It is a partial crystal segment, with three roughly equivalent triangular sides all meeting at a crisp cubic corner.

Tie Die!  It's amazing color is EVEN MORE amazing for the locality, which is not really known for producing perfect gemmy cubes.  The vast majority of the material is crystallized in extremely odd, and contacted pieces, clearly all intergrown with each other.  But where there was enough of a pocket, some pieces did grow in perfect form.

I've seen thousands of individual pieces of the fluorite from this spot, and this one does stand out with a very few others as world-class.  It may be small, but it is MIGHTY!
