Comments:
This ring is cast after a twig from a maple tree that I harvested from my own property here in Vermont! I harvested a number of small twigs for their aesthetic qualities, and I will have a number of listings involving them available in the near future -- Starting with this ring ~
It's size 9.75, and has a half-round shank for comfort - The twig portion is around three quarters of an inch long, and consists of one terminal bud cluster, and two more single buds protruding from what is clearly a 'bark' or 'twig' texture, with the natural features of the original twig coming through quite clearly.
I personally think the buds and settings are arranged delicately, and in a way that blends nature and jewelry simply, to good effect.
The gems are both completely natural, with one coming from Songea, Tanzania (red) and the other hailing from Rock Creek, tributary of the Missouri River in Montana.
