This Unique sapphire tablet has a number of different shades of purple. The wide, rounded end is a medium shade of purple, then there is a slash of darker purple across the middle, and a buttery yellowish color mixed around with a faint purple at the narrow end of the gem.
The clarity is great for Umba sapphires, but there are a few little flaws you can see if you look closely.
This piece also has a distinctly grayish green color on the axis perpendicular to the purple color axis, but since it is visible only through the side of the stone, there isn't a ton of opportunity for that to show off - but you WILL notice the green in the gem every once in a while. Like a ghost that runs through your field of vision and then disappears.
