Comments:
This beryl crystal from the NEW 2025 find is in GREAT shape! the termination is flat, with nice, beveled corners / edges, and there is also a twinned, second crystal about halfway down.
The base of the crystal shows that this is actually a beryl with a secondary beryl overgrowth. Many of the crystals from this location have this same, unique feature.
At almost 10 grams, this piece boasts a good heft-to-length ratio, and has great feel in-hand for that reason.
It's probably best to call this crystal a vanadium bearing beryl crystal, but chemically speaking, technically you are safe to call it an emerald crystal since they contain vanadium.
