This gem is BIG and BRIGHT and SATURATED!  I think it'd be living it's best life as a centerpiece for a custom pendant, but I'm sure there are lots of other good ideas out there for it.  

I created a design specifically for this piece of rough to maximize the POP.  The color is quite a bit more open than other vivid red garnets.  There is a also bit of a purplish berry undertone glowing underneath the red.

It's got a unique and interesting cut, made to be brilliant on the bottom, and blocky on the top, since I feel like this maximizes brilliance in a richly colored gem.
